About the artist
I am drawn to photograph subjects that tug at me as if I can’t breathe if I don’t preserve them for a canvas. When a particular subject captures my attention I just stop - and look at the subject from every angle, searching for just the right light and “framing with my feet”. Eventually a decision is made, yes, this is what I want to capture. Later, people may say oh, that’s different, where was it? I murmur with a smile - you walked right by it!
